I don't have a recipe for it yet.
It is made of low fat milk. Some people add a pinch of soda when mashing it. Has to be mashed well and smooth. Maybe you did not mash it well enough.

There are no special cookware for veg or non veg. Just use the ones you have received and get more of the same kind or glass oven proof bowls.

Unfortunately the book is out of print, so I do not have any to sell. People have found it on Amazon though, if you want to try.

It will never be spongy as a fatless sponge, but try making the mixture a little lighter by adding some more liquid to it.

It is rice broken into rawa sized grains to make idli.
