Chocolate Sauce

Made from semi sweet chcolate to use with ice cream and desserts

  • Semi-sweet Chocolate 250 g
  • Milk cup (120 g)
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • A larger pan with water and a smaller one to melt the chocolate in


  • Heat the water in the larger pan, but do not let it boil over.
  • Break the chocolate into pieces and place in the smaller container along with the milk and vanilla essence.

  • Place this into the hot (but not boiling water) and let it begin to melt.

  • When it starts to melt from the bottom, start to mix it. Keep stirring till it melts.

  • Do not over heat it otherwise it will curdle.

  • Take it off the heat as soon as it is melted and well blended.
