Guthma roti (special thick crisp flat bread)

traditinal way of making crisp thick roti made by pinching the dough by chimta (traditionaly with hands)on the pan.

Type: Bread Serving: tastes best with Urad ki Dal Cooking Time: 3 minutes per chapati

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour,oil or gheefor kneeding and oiling
 

Preparation

  • Knead normal wheat dough with some oil in it.Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • Roll a thick chapati from a plum sized dough ball.Place the chapati on heated flat and slightly cook from one side. Turn it and now with the help of' chimta' make pinch mark on the cooked side of the chapati.let the other side be crisp.Now remove the flat and cook both sides turn wise untill becomes crisp brown.SErve by applying pouring Ghee liberally
