Raw Papaya Salad

Grated Raw Papaya in a tangy, spicy mixture

Type: Salad Serving: 4 Cooking Time: 15 minutes


  • Raw papaya, peeled and grated : 3 cups (500 g)
  • Salt: 1 tsp or to taste
  • Ginger, chopped fine: 1 tbsp
  • Kali Mirch (powdered black pepper) : tsp
  • Onions, chopped fine   cup (100 g)
  • Green chillies, chopped fine: to taste
  • Soya Sauce: 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp or to taste
  • Hara Dhania (Coriander leaves),  chopped: cup
  • Pea-nuts, roasted and coarsely pounded : cup


  • Mix all the ingredients except the peanuts.
  • Chill and transfer on to a serving bowl, garnish with peanuts and serve.
