Green and White Salad

  • Eggs, hardboiled 4
  •   Mayonnaise
  • cup (approx.)
  • Mustard powder tsp or to taste
  • Onions, chopped fine 2 tbsp.
  • Peas, boiled 1 cup (500g, unshelled)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper (Kali mirch), freshly ground, to taste
  • Lettuce leaves, crisped 6-8
  • Garnish of choice (carrot, red bell pepper, cherries, etc.)


  • Chop the eggs fine. Mix the eggs, sauce, mustard and onion.
  • Mix the salt and black pepper into the peas, and break the lettuce into tiny pieces.

  • Arrange the peas in the centre of a flat serving dish. Place the egg mixture encircling it, and finally the lettuce leaves encircling the egg mixture.

  • Garnish, chill and serve.
