Ingredients

Potatoes, boiled and peeled 500 g

Ginger, finely sliced 1 tbsp

Zeera (cumin seeds) 1 tsp

Dhania powder (coriander) 2 tsp
-
Sendha namak (rock salt) 2 tsp

Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
-
Dahi 1/2 cup (100 gms)

Green chillies, slit 3-4

Ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tbsp

Hara dhania (Coriander leaves), chopped 1 tbsp

Preparation

Break the potatoes by pressing them in your palm and keep aside.
Heat the ghee, and add the zeera. When it splutters add the ginger and saute till slightly fried.
Lower the heat, and add the dahi a little at a time, stirring vigorously.
Add the dhania, salt, and chilli powder. Mix well and add the potatoes and green chillies and turn around over high heat, till they look slightly fried.
Add about 2 cups water, and bring the mixture to a boil, and then simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with the hara dhania.
