Savoury Egg Toast (Ande mein lipti double roti)

Ingredients

Eggs, slightly beaten 2

Milk 2 tbsp
-
Salt to taste
-
Green chillies, finely chopped to taste

Hara Dhania, finely chopped 2 tbsp

Powdered black pepper ¼ tsp
-
Bread slices, crusts removed 4

Butter 4 tsp
-
Slit green chillies or chopped hara dhania or tomato ketchup for garnish

Preparation

Mix the eggs, milk, salt, green chillies, dhania and black pepper well together.
Dip the bread slices into this mixture, turning to soak well.
Heat a teaspoon of butter in a non-stick pan. When butter melts, lower the heat and place one slice over it, and turn at once.
Let cook on both sides, till light brown and cooked through. Repeat with the rest of the slices.
Serve hot accompanied with tomato sauce.
