Waldorf Salad

Ingredients

Apples cored and diced 3 cups (350 g), approx.

Lemon juice 2 tbsp
-
Sugar 1 tbsp (15 g) or to taste

Salt 1 tsp or to taste

Celery, chopped fine ½ cup
-
Walnuts, coarsely chopped 50 g/ ½ cup
-
Mayonnaise sauce ¼ cup (60 g)

Cream ½ cup (120 g), whipped
-
A serving dish lined with salad greens

Preparation

Sprinkle the apples with sugar, lemon juice and salt. Mix in the celery and leave to chill.
Fold the mayonnaise into the whipped cream.
Mix the cream mixture gently into the apple mixture, add the walnuts and heap on to the prepared plate.
Garnish with some more walnuts or garnish of your choice and serve.
