Coriander Rice / Dhania wale chawal

Type: Rice Varieties Serving: 4-5 people Cooking Time: 10-15 mins

Ingredients

  • Main Ingredients:
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch
  • Garlic pcs - 7-8
  • Green Chillies - 6-7
  • Other Ingredients:
  • Salt - To taste
  • Oil or Ghee - 2 TBsp
  • Rice - 1 cup soaked for 1/2 hour
  • Water - 1 1/2 cup or as much required for rice to get boiled
 

Preparation

  • 1. Grind coriander leaves + garlic pcs + green chillies in blender. Grind it roughly.
  • 2. Heat oil / ghee in preasure cooker. Add dhania paste and fry a little. Make sure the paste does not get burnt or gets black.

  • 3. Add rice and fry a little. Add salt.

  • 4. Finally add water. Give one whistle.

  • 5. Sprinkle little desi ghee on top and serve hot. Goes very well with dall makhani.
