Ingredients

Banana (Kela), raw 2
-
Ginger paste 1 tsp
-
Garlic paste 1 tsp
-
Salt 1 tsp or to taste

Chilli powder ½ tsp or to taste
-
Semolina (Soojee) 1 cup (approx)

Oil to pan fry

Lemon wedges and green chillies to garnish

Preparation

Boil the bananas along with the skin, till half cooked.
Peel and cut first into 2-3 pieces, then each piece width wise, so that you get flat, almost rectangular pieces.
Mix the ginger, garlic, salt and chilli powder, and then rub the mixture into the pieces.
Coat the pieces thickly with the soojee.
Heat a thin layer of oil in a pan and fry on both sides till a light brown.
Serve hot garnished with the lemon and green chillies.
