Vanilla Custard

A custard of pouring consistency for accompanying some desserts

  • Milk 1 cups (360 ml)
  • Sugar 6 tbsp  
  • Milk cup (120 ml) ]
  • Custard powder 2 tbsp ] mixed together
  • Sugar to sprinkle


  • Bring the milk to a boil and add the sugar. Lower the heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.
  • Stirring all the time, add the custard mixture and let it come to a boil. Simmer for a minute and take it off the heat.

  • Transfer on to a serving jug, sprinkle some sugar and leave to cool.
