Spinach Soup

Soup with pureed spinach

Type: Soups Serving: 4 Cooking Time: 15 minutes after pureeing


  • 500 gm spinach (palak), Pureed
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • water
  • cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1tsp Salt
  • one-eighth tsp grated nutmeg(jaiphal)
  • 4 tbsp cream


  • Measure the puree and add enough water to make 4 cups of liquid and bring to a boil.
  • Add the milk mixture, salt, pepper, and nutmeg and simmer for about 10 minutes.

  • Serve hot, garnished with the cream.
